COURSE OBJECTIVE
The aim of this course is to offer the necessary knowledge for the practice of intentional reimplantation and dental autotransplantation, both for the general dentist and for the specialist. It covers all modalities of autotransplantation; in the child from 9 to 12 years old, in the adolescent patient, in the adult and the surgical straightening of the premolar and canine.

SPEAKERS
Dr. Ernest Lucas-Taulé
Dr. Ernest Lucas-Taulé is a native of Barcelona, Spain. He graduated as a dentist from the International University of Catalunya. He completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Research and a three-year full-time programme in Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology.
Since then, he has been working as an implantologist and oral surgeon in Spain and the UK. He is an expert in full mouth rehabilitation cases, bone grafting and soft tissue management.
Dr. Lucas-Taulé is a professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the International University of Catalunya and has multiple scientific publications in the field of Implantology and Oral Surgery. He was Visiting Professor at NOVA Southeastern University (USA) in the last years 2017 and 2018 and has participated as a speaker in some congresses during these years. His lectures are generally related to tooth transplantation and management of complex cases in implant dentistry.
Dr Ernest Lucas has developed a new protocol for guided surgery in autotransplantation that has won the award for the best scientific publication of the year 2020 in the category of ‘Clinical Techniques’. This prize has been awarded by one of the journals with the highest impact factor in dentistry, the Journal of Endodontics of the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Marc Llaquet
Dr. Marc Llaquet has a degree in Dentistry and specialises in Clinical Research and Endodontics from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, where he completed the Master’s Degree in Clinical Research and the European Master’s Degree in Endodontics. He also completed a Doctorate in Dentistry at the same institution.
Dr Llaquet is the director of the Endodontics Postgraduate Course at the Academia Autrán in Madrid and has worked as a collaborating professor in the Endodontics Department at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. He is a Visiting Professor at NOVA Southeastern University (United States).
He has been a speaker at multiple national and international conferences, lecturer of courses in the field of Autotransplantation and author of endodontic articles in national and international scientific journals.
