Description
This intense course is featuring the optimal procedures for an implant placement and hard and soft tissue enhancement in the aesthetic area. Course participants will be presented with a decision tree for choosing the most predictable treatment option based on anatomy and biology and will receive extensive training on all techniques during the hands-on portion of the course.

There is a shift in current thinking in osteotomy preparation. How can we preserve bone, plastically expand it, and enhance its strength in a controlled method? Osseodensification for lateral ridge expansion and immediate implant placement. - 10:00 am – 10:30 am. Break
- 10:30 am – 01:00 pm. Lecture:
Osseodensification for crestal sinus lift. Dentin autograft for socket preservation, defect grafting, lateral ridge augmentation, sinus lift. - 01:00 pm – 02:00 pm. Lunch

Implant site preparation utilising osseodensification in animal tibia. Dentin autograft production. - 03:30 pm – 04:00 pm. Break

Surgical procedures for implant placement in an aesthetic zone depending on anatomy: decision tree.
Socket Type I: Post extraction implant placement versus early, delayed and late implant placement.
Factors influencing outcome: anatomy, 3D implant placement, dual zone augmentation, immediate provisional / individual healing abutment, soft tissue augmentation with CTG. Importance of peri implant soft tissue for long term stability - 10:00 am – 10:30 am. Break

Two important techniques for soft tissue enhancement: VISTA and palatal sliding buccal flap. - 11:15 am – 01:00 pm. Hands-on Training:
Implant placement in fresh extraction socket. Dual zone augmentation. FCTG harvesting in one incision technique. Tunnel technique for ridge augmentation simultaneous with post ex implant placement. - 01:00 pm – 02:00 pm. Lunch

Socket type 2 (buccal bone missing socket) and Socket type 3. Diagnosis, available surgical techniques for implant site development: immediate dentoalveolar restoration (IDR), prosthetic socket preservation, ice cone technique, hard tissue augmentation with implant placement, staged procedure: mIVAN technique. - 01:00 pm – 02:00 pm. mIVAN technique for Socket Type 2 and 3 and for ridge with horizontal atrophy. Pediculated connective tissue graft utilization. Particulate bone harvesting. - 03:30 pm – 04:00 pm. Break
