Goals of the course

Adhesive esthetic restorations have a prevalent part in modern conservative dentistry in the posterior sectors, to be update in our profession.

The purpose of this course is to show indicatioons, problems, material, tools and operative procedures of adhesive posterior restorations with indirect technique step by step.

This course is extremely complete with its theoretical part supported by a bibliography and by a large number of case clinical history with the help of Full-HD video and with its practical part which is performed by the referee on a patient and by the attending people on extracted theet.

The end goal is to provide all the partecipants with a rigorous method, codified so as to be repetable and predictable to obtain the best clinical results in the clinical daily routine.

This course is directed at all operator who like to acquire a precise,well-established tecnique wich allows to consistently achieve excellent clinical results.The curriculum of the course makes it ideally suitable for all those who would like to get to know this tecnique,deepen their knowledge and improve their tecnique according to the most advanced procedures.

DEEP CERVICAL MARGIN ( restorations with subgingival cervical margins):
Published classification and differentiated treatment approach:

  • Grade1: Coronal relocation of the margin (DME)
  • Grade2: Surgical exposition of the margin
  • Grade3 a,b,c: Surgical lengthening of the clinical crown with immediate- early- delayed impression

FULL MOUTH ADHESIVE REHABILITATION (only an example): Digital Smile Design, Wax-up, Full mouth adhesive Mock-up, increase of VDO, prep driven by mock-up, adhesive cementation.

Day 2 - Hands-on


  • Full-HD VIDEO about 2 subgingival ceramic Overlays: surgical and restorative procedures
  • Full HD video about surgical crown lengthening with intrasurgical build-up for a composite onlay until cementation: step by step procedures

Execution of the restorations by the participants on extracted theet or on resin theet and then check by the referee, who will provide eventually some improvements.


  • Opening of a wide cavity
  • Assessment of the remaining thickness and reduction of not properly supported cusps
  • Adhesive Composite Build-up
  • Preparation and finishing of the cavity, according to new MDPT
  • Definitive impression with elastomers

Dr. Marco Veneziani

Dr. Marco Veneziani

Born in Piacenza, Italy, on November 19, class of 1964. Graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Milan in 1988 with a grade of 110 cum laude.

Active member of the Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry (AIC) since 1996. Member of the Membership Acceptance Committee. Active member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED) since 2012 and member of the board of directors. Active member of the International Academy of Digital Dental Medicine (IADDM) since 2015.

Visiting professor at the University of Pavia (Italy), guest professor in the Master’s program in Restorative Dentistry at the Universities of Turin, Bologna, and Milan (Humanitas University). Lecturer on topics of Restorative Dentistry and Periodontics in various courses and conferences at national and international levels.

Author of publications on conservative and prosthetic dentistry in national and international journals. Author of a chapter in the book “Esthetic Restorative Dentistry” by AIC, published by Quintessence in 2021. Author of the innovative book titled “Solutions – Adhesive Restoration Techniques and Integrated Surgical Procedures,” Edra Ed. 2021, translated into seven languages.

He conducts various training and specialization courses with practical sessions in restorative dentistry with a multidisciplinary approach, at his own educational center (MFV Communication) in Vigolzone and throughout the country and internationally. He has had a private practice in Vigolzone (PC, Italy) since April 1, 1989, with a multidisciplinary approach to dentistry.
