Practical Content
- Live patient: Connective graft and free gingival graft
- Workshop: Handling of fabrics in pigs’ heads. Tunneling and over, connective and free gingival graft.
- Workshop: Handling of fabrics in pigs’ heads. Tunneling and envelope with biomaterials. Sutures.
- Live patient: treatment of recessions in teeth
- Live patient: envelope technique.

Application of mucogingival surgery in prostheses and implants
Different techniques for handling pontics.
Application in immediate implants and implant retreatments - 12.30 – 14.00h: CLINICAL ATTENDANCE: review of clinical cases and discussion.
- 14.00 – 15.30h: Lunch
- 15.30 – 18.00h: LIVE PATIENT: connective tissue grafting.
- 18.00 – 18.30h: Coffee break
- 18.30 – 20.00h: LIVE PATIENT: free epithelial graft
Schedule day 2: Flaps and other root-plating techniques

Design of flaps, incisions and sutures. Applications and techniques: Langer and Langer, Zucchelli, Cho, pediculates…
Description of the techniques, indications and clinical cases. - 11.00 – 11.30h: Coffee break
- 11:30 – 14.00h: Pig’s head PRACTICE: donor, recipient, tunneling, envelope and sutures. Design of flaps, incisions and sutures.

- 11:30 – 14.00h: Presentation and discussion of clinical cases.

- 15.30 – 18.00h: LIVE PATIENT: Alloderm and/or Dermis.

Schedule day 4: Papilla Regeneration
- 09.00 – 11.00h:
Papilla Regeneration. One step further! Thorough diagnosis and risk assessment. When does it pay off for us to try? - 11.00 – 11.30h: Coffee break
- 11:30 – 14.00h: Pig’s head PRACTICE: with biomaterials and suture.
- 14.00 – 15.30h: Lunch
- 15.30 – 18.00h: Presentation of clinical cases by students ans discussion.

- Master in Occlusion and Temporomandibular Dysfunction (Dr. Ferrer, Valencia, 98). Ex-collaborator of the Departments of Restorative Dentistry and Surgery of the University of Santiago de Compostela. Postgraduate training in Orthodontics with Dr. David Suarez Quintanilla (97-99).
- Postgraduate degree in Periodontology and Implantology (Madrid 99-00) with stays in various faculties, hospitals and clinics in Europe and the United States.
- Private practice in Ponferrada (León) since 2001.
- Active member of several scientific societies.
